Team Blitz Pub Crawl in Belltown for Walk MS on 3/10

Fact: Drinking is essential to survival. Fact: Drinking alcohol for a good cause is the best reason to drink.  On March 10th, the 3rd annual Team Blitz pub crawl will be taking place to raise money for the Walk MS team headed by none other than the Seahawks Mascot, Blitz.  Each year NFL Mascots from around the country send amazing memorabilia to be

raffled off, and this year Red Bull seems like they want to take the title of best prize.  Among the prizes already in the pot this year in an iFly indoor skydiving for 6 people with Blitz and the Red Bull Air Force.  WHAT!  Talk about being a badass while being a total whimp at the same time.  If I had a style, that’d be it.

All the details, including a full list of prizes, can be found on Brown Paper Tickets.  I drink a lot, but this is one of my favorite times to do it.  $30 gets you a drink tickets, a shirt, and an unofficial liver test. RSVP on the facebook page too, because it’s the cool thing to do.

Team Blitz is a team of over 200+ people making a difference in the research, care, and support for the Greater Northwest Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.  Below is a taste of what to expect…

4th Annual Seattle Red Dress Party on Sat 2/18

What do want me to do… dress in drag and do the hula?  Well, whether or not you’re into that the Seattle Red Dress Party is an annual event to benefit four non-profits doing  AMAZING work to stop the spread of HIV and care for people living with HIV/AIDS.  Those orgs are Gay City Health Project, Lifelong AIDS Alliance, Multifaith Works, and Rise N’ Shine.  Together they provide a holistic continuum of care and prevention services to our community.  I obviously copies that last sentence, because let’s be serious — I’d never say continuum.

Based off the past three years, everyone wears red and drinks a respectable number of alcoholic beverages.  Tickets range from $40-120 and the event is at Fremont Studios in, you guessed it, Fremont.
